NEW ZEALAND PIONEERS
The Wellington group of .the recently-formed New Zealand Pioneers held a successful dance in the St. John Ambulance Booms on Wednesday evening, when a delightful time was enjoyed by those present. Among those present were Misses E. and F. Huntingtou, B. Charlton, I. Eggers, M. Stewart, F. BUey, J. Haywood (Christchurch), M. Castle, E. Bucholtz, N. Wortley, E. Luke, C. Cameron, Meinholt, K. Synnott, (Otaki), Twist (Otaki), and E. Johnson; Mr., and Mrs. A. Barr-Brown, Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Moss, Dr. and Mrs. W. J: Shirer, Mr. and Mrs. T. Pacey, Mr.' and Mrs. Giles; and Messrs. K. Hardie Boycs, Herbert, E. Johnson, L. Moss, N.Tennent, W. Franks, A. Crcswcll, E. Kelly, A. Craven, and J. B. Smythe. The hostesses were Mesdarnes C. Meachcn (who wore cream lace), J. Smythe (pink and black satin)', and W. F. Shirer (bluo organdie). The hall was tastefully decorated and inspiring music was provided by the orchestra.
