TAKAPUNA CLUB
TO RACE AT ELLERSLIE

AUCKLAND, August 10.
Negotiations for the Takapuna Jockey Club to hold future meetings at Ellertlio were concluded today. The folowing official statement was issued: —"Satisfactory arrangements have been concluded between the Auckland Racing Club and the Takapuna Jockey Club for the latter to bold ite race meetings in the future at Ellerslic. Arrangements ai'e being submitted to the New Zealand Racing Conference for its approval." It is understood ' that the Takapuna Jockey Club proposes to use the win-aud-place betting system at its EUorslie meetings. The Auckland Racing Club at present has no intention of changing from the two-dividend method for its own meetings.
