MR. FORGAN SMITH'S VIEWS
I (By Telegraph—Press-Association.) . . AUCKLAND, This Day. The Premier of Queensland (Mr. W. Forgan Smith), who ■is returning to I Australia from London, arrived by the Aorangi. He said that he was definitely; against quotas aiid other restrictions,-which led to despair. Britain bought more food and raw materials fronv foreign countries than from the whole of her Dominions, and while that continued she could have no- case- for restricting the Dominion's exposts. .'■'■-. Australia had always paid her debts in full, but if she was unable to continue soiling her produce she could not continue paying in full. 'He had been assured in London that no arbitrary restrictions would, be imposed.! . . .
