A motion to the. effect that the Dominion executive of the Farmers' .Union be requested present to the Governor-General,. Lord .Bledisloe, aii illuminated address* or 60uie other form of appreciation and good will, prior to his departure, was endorsed by members generally at a meeting' of the Manawatu proviAcial executive, of the uniou on Saturday. '.
It was unanimously resolved to_ forward the suggestion to the Dominion executive of the union.
