MISS C. WALSHE HOSTESS

A delightful studio dance for pupils and their friends was given by Miss Gwenethe Walshe at her studio in /the "Evening Post" Building bn.Saturday night. • -. ' .

Miss Walshe • received her guests, wearing a cloth of. silver frock with a short coatee of silver lace;

The studio aud supper rooms, -where delicious savoury refreshments were served, were charmingly decorated with Iceland poppies aud native foliage. In addition to many novelty dauces, exhibitions of the modern waltz, the quickstep and the "croon'? dance were •given by, Miss Walshe- aticl Mr. Bay Moore, items which were enthusiastically encored.

, Those who won competition dances were Miss K. Joseph and Mr. J. B. Appleby (Pip "Monto Carlo"), Miss S. Walshe and-Mr. G. D. Feist (comedy national), Miss S. Lutsky and Mr. F. Walker (poker "Monte Carlo"). Mr. J. Harper was master of ceremonies.
