RELIEF WORKS IN N.S.W. ;
IMPRESSIVE FIGURES
SYDNEY, April 6.
At the TJnitea Australia Party convention today an announcement was made that the New South Wales Government had arranged to spend £5,500,000 on relief works through the Water Sewerage Board and the Irrigation . Commission.
It was stated that 75,000 men wera at present employed on various relief works.. ■
