ARRIVAL AT DARWIN

Bernard Rubens and Kenneth Walla tvho left England 'on March( 22, ob their fliglit in preparation for participation in the air race to Australia nest October, arrived at Darwin, Australia, today in their three-seater Lombard. Moth aeroplane. DAKWIN, April 6. The airmen Rubens and Waller left Koepang this morning and arrived at Darwin at 12.23 p.m. They are remaining about ten days in Australia, returning by the same route after visiting Sydney and Melbourne. Their object is to survey the. route for the Centenary air race, as Rubens intends flying a new.type of Comet machine. Their present machine, a Leopard Moth, is of the enclosed cabin type. Rubens is Australian-born and served with the Imperial Forces. Waller is a native of Kent,
Messrs. Kubens and Waller started from Lympne on March 19. They intended \o reach Melbourne in 16 dayi and return to England in May.
