Fifteen, years ago on March 17 the tragic wreck of the cutter Janet occurred, writes C. J. York. The Janet was lost with all (eleven) hands on a voyage from Vavau. to Keppel Islands in the Tongan Group. > The vessel was of 28 tons and was owned by Messrs. Tindall and Eoss, of Auckland. She was a very fast ship and contested, in the coasters' race inmany Auckland'regattas.
