SCHOONER FOR AUCTION
Fraser, Utter, and Co. offered at auction on March 6 the small schooner Isabel and the highest bid was £200. The auctioneers decided to .'rejer the offer to the;owner, Captain Weeks, for consideration.. The Isabelis a small vessel of 153 gross tonnage, and arrived at Sydney on January 3, after an adventurous voyage from Plymouth. On arrival,'at Sydney, the vessel-was immediately seized by Customs?officials, owing to'dutiable goods liayig:been suspected of being on board. ■■•'■' • ' • Although proceedings were instituted against the owner, the Court'ordered the goods to be returned to Weeks. ; ■.;•■
