TRAINING SHIP COMMAND
Captain' Xoel M. F. Corbett, B.N. (rctd.), has been appointed to command the British industrial training-ship Cornwall, moored oft" D'enton,. Gravesend.
The Cornwall, a teak ship Duilt at Bombay in 1817. was "originally"H'.M.S. Wellesley. She- is one of the seven surviving wooden walls, the others being 11.M.5. Victory, flagship of the Com-niander-in-Ghief at "Portsmouth; the mercantile marine cadet training ships Worcester, in the Thames, and Con-way, in the Mersey, where she has just completed her 57th year,- the Implacable and Foudroyant, maintained in. Portsmouth Harbour as holiday sea training centres; and H.M.S. Unicorn, the E.N:V.K. drillship at Dundee.
