TOO MANY PASSENGERS
When the Ivorea-Asaka liner Kimigayo Maru (950 tons), of the Amagasaki Steamship Company, • berthed along.the Osaka Harbour recently, over 3000 passengers swarmed on to the liner.
. A number of injuries were sustained and 17 Koreans wore pushed into the sea. Police intervention prevented a riot, and the shipping company was ordered'to refund the faies of those unablo to make the voyage, which -was in connection with some national celebration. The vessel's passenger accommodation is for fewer' than 900.
