FROZEN MEAT MARKET
The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advice from its London office as at close of business this week: —The market is short of supplies of both wethers and ewes, and prices are nominal. Trad* in lamb is slow, but is-likely to improve shortly. There is a fair demand for beef. Wethers, light 5%d to Cd per ft), heavy 4%d to 5 3-8 d; ewes, 3 3-8(1 to 4 5-8 d; lambs, 2's 6 5-Sd to 6 7-Bd, S's 6 5-8 dto 6 7-Bd, 4's 6 5-8 dto 6 7-Bd, seconds 6 3-8 d to 6 5-8 d; ox hinds 3%d to 3%d, ox fores 2 l-8d to 2 3-Bd.
