SHEEP AT UPPER HUTT.
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., offered a full yarding, which met .with keen competition at the Upper Hutt sheep fair this week. A total clearance was made at the following .prices:—Four and five-year ewes (good), 18s 4d, 19s 6d, 20s, 20s 3d; to 21s, (low condition) 11s 6d, 12s 9d, 14s 9d, 15s lOd, to 16s; m.a. ewes, 18s 4d; to 21s 6d; aged-ewes, 9s, 10s 3d, to 16s; small fourtooth ewes, 245; small two-tooth ewes, 17s; two-tooth wethers, 20s Id, 20s lid, to 21s Id; ewe lambs, 15s 2d to 19s Id; wether lambs (good), 16s Bd, 17s I'd, 17s 6d, (small) lls 3d, 12s 6d, 13s, to 13s 6d; m.s. lambs (small), 12s 3d, 12s 6d, to 14b sd; cull lambs (m.s.), 6s, 6s 7d, 7s 2d, 7s 6d, 8s 3d, to 8s lOd; springing heifers, £5; springing cows, £5; empty 18-month heifere, £2 6s.
