The wildest spectacle ever' associated with wrestling in Brisbane marked the contest between Lunch and Peuuhoft'. Both were disqualified in the third round, after which they flew at each otfyer and a fierce encounter took place outside the ropes. The blood-bespat-tered wrestlers were completely out of control. After tho police stopped the bout among the spectators Lunch returned to the ring and floored the referee. The latter was rising when he was struck on the head with a chair thrown by a spectator. The referee dropped, to the floor, blood gushing from a bad scalp wound. The police then escorted the wrestlers from the stadium.
