Wright, Stephenson, and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report oh the Johusonville sale held yesterday as follows:—-There was a large atendance of buyers to whom we submited a full yarding of all classes of stock. The sale generally was a dragging one. ' Both bullocks and cows were much easier than last week. Vealers met with a good demand. Wethers" offered were' of average quality, and there was practically no demand, a good portion of the yarding being passed in. ' 'KWes, which were of better quality, met-with' a fair sale at reduced limits. Prices-for- wethers were easier by Is to Is 6d per-head and ewes up to Is, as com-pared-with last week's rates, whilst lambs were.slightly easier. ■ We quote:—Prime heavy bullocks, £7 10s £7 7s 6d, £7 Gs, £7; heavy bullocks, £6 155,.£6.105, £6.65, £6 Is, £5 16s; extra, heavy cows and heifers, £5 ss, £5 3s, £5, £4 16s, £4' 13s, £4 Bs, £4; runners, £3 18s ■ £3- Ite, £3 4s, £2 10s; vealers, £2 ss, £2. .£1.19* £1 17s, £1 11s 6d. CHEEP AT MASTERTON. Wright,- Stephenson, and Co., Ltd., report:—We offered a yarding comprising 1551 2 and 4-tooth wethers to a good attendance at the Masterton sale yesterday. Competition was keen throughout, and a total clearance was effected as under:— Account P. C. Taylor, 290 2-tooth wethers, 16s; 8 cull wethers, 13s 6d. Account A. H. Pavitt, 125 4-tooth wethers, 18s; 199 •Mooth wethers, 15a 7d. "Account G. Morgan, 203 2-tooth wethers, • 15s 10dj 51 2-tooth wethers, 15s Id ;■ 42 ■ 4-tooth wethers, 18s Id. Account H, E.- Haggitt, 187 2-tOoth wethers, 15s lOd; 68.2-tooth wethers, 14s 5d.. Account H. Scales, 152 2-tooth wethers, 15s 8d; 74 2-tooth aethers, 14s 3d. Account other venders, small 2-tootli wethers, 13s. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having had a small entry of wethers at the Masterton sale yesterday, when there was a keen demand. Medium 2-tooth .wethers brought up to los 3d, and 4-tooth wethers, 17s 6d. ■..-■. PAHIATIM CATTLE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile \gency Co., Ltd., offered a medium entry of station cattle at the Pahiatua sale on Tuesday- There was a keen demand for all lines, and a satisfactory clearance was effected as follows:— Four-year P.A. bullocks, £4 19s; two-year P.A. steers hS 8s; one-year P.A. ditto, £2 11. to £3 3s; small steers, £2 8s; one-year P.A. belters, £2 2s. to 325; two-year __ditto, £i us, empty dairy cows, 21s to 27s Gd.
