About 8190 bales were sold. • . • * Good competition: was displayed at full rates for all good merinos, but inferior merinos and crossbreds snowed an easier tendency, with some withdrawals. Greasy merinos from New South Wales sold 14'/4d, Queensland loVid, Victorian 19'^d; scoured merinos from Queensland made 28d, South Australian 24d, and New Zealand, "Oxford," 23'/2d highest, 22% d average. New Zealand greasy crossbred, "Whekau," sold 11 3-8 d highest, 9d average.
