INTERESTING ADDRESS

Branching cherry-blossom and red heaves were used to decorate the social room at the Dominion Farmers' Institute yesterday afternoon, when the ladies', social committee entertained members at afternoon tea. Mrs. K. Preston and Mrs. Daniel were the hostesses. The speaker, Mr. C. It. C. Eobieson, gave an absorbing address dealing with tho monetary system from its early beginnings in barter and symbols, .until the present system. Mr. Eobieson spoke of values, banking, and other features of finance in,-a most interesting and enlightening manner. ' Another speaker was Miss Beasley, a member of the English-Speaking Union in San Francisco, who spoke of the hospitality and friendliness she had 'received ' from all- branches of the !union . during her travels.
