TWO NEW RECORDS

DUNEDIN, This Day.
In a special attempt S. Jarvis lowered the New Zealand junior boys' 50 yards swimming record of Noel Crump, from 27 2-ssec to 26 4-ssec, and in an attack on his own intermediate record of 73 4-ssec for the 100 yards breaststrokc, Beg Geddes bettered his existing mark by l-ssec.
