CHURCH JUBILEE FUNCTIONS

The celebrations in connection with the fiftieth anniversary of Wesley Church, Nelson Street, Petone, have now been concluded. A Bible class, reunion, held on Saturday evening, was attended bysome 120 people. The services on Sunday were very well attended. ' The Rev. E. P. Blamireg, who was the first resident minister of the church, conducted the service in the morning, arid the Rev. C. Blair, of Karori, a former minister of Petone Church, the evening service."

The Rev. L.' C. Horwood, the present minister of the church, stated today that the jubilee celebrations, which lasted for a. week, were most, successful throughout. Between four and five hundred people, apart from the members of the church, took part in the various functions connected with the jubilee.
