BIBLE LECTURE
In the third of a series of lectures being given in the Concert Chamber of. the Town Hall, Evangelist ■ Naden spoke last evening concerning the, great signs and wonders which were, according to prophecy, to precede the Second Advent ot Christ. The speaker said that although the 20th century had seen the greatest advance materially in the history of man, no other age was confronted with so many difficult and perplexing problems. The evangelist said that Christ nearly two thousand years ago wonderfully and accurately foretold this present age, and he outlined the many signs given by Christ which were to precede His Second Coming. The speaker in concluding his remarks said that the sure word of prophecy proclaimed the imminent return of our Lord, and urged all to prepare for this event. The singing of "The Holy City" by Mrs. Battye followed the address.
