PATIENT DIES FROM THROAT WOUND
A patient "at Wellington Hospital, Peter Brcnnaiva farmer from 'hura, Bear iaumarunui, was" found dead in one of the hospital wards yesterday morning under circumstances that suggest suicide. Brennan, who was 43 years of age, came to Wellington some days ago from the King Country and stayed at a hotel. He subsequently went into hospital, and on July 27 was operated on for an ulcerated stomach. About 12.15 a.m; yesterday, it is understood, he asked one of the sisters for a drink When she returned she found Brennan dead with a wound in his throat and a .razor, which had been kept in a cupboard near his bed, alongside him. An inquest wilj be held.
