MASTERTON SALE

Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., report having held their weekly Masterton sale on Wednesday. About 1000 sheep were yarded and after keen competition a total clearance was made. Prices showed a substantial advance on recent sales. The following are the realisations:—Empty 2-4 and 6tooth ewes, 9s lOd; 5 and 6-year ewes, r.w. Southdown rams, 3s lOd, 5s 3d, and 7s Cd; 4-year ewes, r.w. Southdown rams, 11s Gd, 2-tooth wethers, 11s and 13s; wether lambs, 7s 6d; ewe lambs, 8s 4d.
