PRELIMINARY INQUIRY
SUSPICION OF COMPLICITY
(Times Cable.) LONDON, June 5. The Berlin correspondent of "The Times" says the preliminary investigations into the Eeichstag fire have been concluded. The magistrates ' heard 500 witnesses. The documentary material sent to the Public .'Prosecutor comprises twenty-four volumes. It is stated that suspicion«of complicity has arisen against Torgler, a Communist deputy, and three Bulgarians, Popoff, Diniitrofi, and Tanea, in addition to Lubbe, who was arrested immediately following the fire.
