MUIR—BREWER
The marriage was solemnised recently at St. Giles's Church, Kilbirnie, of Florence Winnifred, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Brewer, Wellington South, to Gordon. Eowe, only son of Mr. John Muir, Canterbury. The Rev. E. J. Orange officiated. The bride, who.was escorted by her father, wore a graceful gown of powder blue angel skin lace and mariette, with grey velvet toque. The matron of honour, Mrs. Chadwick, wore a dress of grey crinkled crepe relieved with powder blue georgette, and a grey toque. Both carried bouquets to tone. The bride's mother wore a • black silk coat with musquash necklet and a smart black hat. Her small godson presented the bride with a satin horseshoe. Mr. T. Callaghan was best man. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. Later Mr. and Mrs. Muir left by the Wanganella for Sydney, where they intend spending a brief holiday before going on to their home in Brisbane. The bride's travelling dress was of brown crinkled crepe with brown velvet toque to match, and a musquash coat.
