"THE SLEEPING BEAUTY."
Miss O. Helen ' Gnrd'ncr—well known for outstanding ability in dramatic art and singing—will produce a most interesting and enjoyable fairy opera, "The Sleeping Beauty," in' the Concert Chamber (Town Hall) on Saturday next and on Monday, Hay 22. On Saturday there will be two performances—a matinee at 2.30 p.m. and also at 8 p.m. This will be a fascinating entertainment, providing', dramatic scenes of spectacular beauty ami beautiful music, both vocal and instrumental. Miss Gard'ncr has trained a fine chorus of juveniles and adults for' the chorus parts, and nn orchestra, under Mr. Harry Bruscy, with Mr. Clement Howe at the piano, will- add to the musical elrects. The costumes for the opera have been specially designed by .Mrs. James Hannah. TJje prices of admission arc popular and the box plan is at The Bristol. ■ ..
