x., . FOLDING, May 12. With a lieavy yarding ottered, prices for fat lambs and fat wetners showed a fur-ther-rise, at the stock sale, exporters, operating lively. The quality, generally was good. Primest tat lambs made His 4d; prime, Hi 3d\to las lOd; good, 13s to 13s !)d; fair, lls Oil to 12s 4d; backward sorts, 9s 8d to 10s S)d. Priinest lieavy wethers, 15s 'Jd; prime heavies, 14s; good pens, 12s 2d to 13s id; 'medium quality, lls 3d to lls (id; maiden ewes and wethers, lls 3d. Ewes barely held the previous rates. Prime heavy made 9s sd; good, 8s to 8s 7cl; fair, 5s (id to 7s lOd; black face two-tooths, 14s to los:3d. The .large yarding of store sheep included many pens of breeding ewes and prices appreciably hardened' all round. Woolly wether lambs, best, 8s 3d to Bs' 7d; good, 7s to 7s' 7d;1 m.s. ditto, ,0s to 8s; black faces, 6s 4d to 8s 2d; ewe lambs, very good, met keen competition and imjde los; good, lls Id up; breeding ewes, four, live-year r.w. Southdown rams, 8s 6d; twotooth ditto, 13s (id; two, four, six-tooth ditto, lls 7d. : There was a heavy yarding of store cattle. Heifers, r.w.b., good to £4 17s fid; fair pens made £2; backward, 26s to 375; Shorthorn cows, r.w.b., £1 8s; weaner heifers, good, 29s to 30s; fair, lls to 17s; eighteen months steers, 255; twoyear PA. steers, £2 15s to £2 19s; twoyear R.P. steers, £2 3s fld to £2 7s 6d; mixed colour steers, good, £2 8a Gd to £3 6s; two-year Hereford steers, £2 9s; three-year ditto, £3 8s 6d; forward bullocks, £3 to £3 10s; empty forward heifers, £2; store cows* -fl.-to £2. .A - small yarding, of poor quality fat cattle was offered.
