LONG TRAIL MINING REPORT.

The Long Trail Gpldmininpr Co, Ltd, reports for week ending March IS, as follows:—No. 2 leader east drive extended to 42ft, making 10ft for week. Face is now not.far from the junction of No. 3 leader. Block of ore overhead will now be stoped. No. 2 leader west drive extended to 40ft, making Oft for week. Pace is within 3ft of surface, and ore value is most consistent. A level lower down and west of face will be driven to test western pitch of ore shoot. No. 3 leader, intermediate drive, was extended to 49ft, making 9ft, for the week. .Ore is of payable quality. No. 1 reef, 100 ft, level: No 1 rise is up 7ft. Reef-is a fine body of ore, 4tt 6m wide, and during the week, some gold was seen in a small piece of quartz.
