INTER-SQUADRON COMPETI-

TION

Sir Charles Kingsford Smith has presented through the Director of Air Services (Squadron-Leader T. M. Wilkes) a cheque for the purchase of a trophy for annual competition . between the four squadrons of the New Zealand Air Force, tho conditions suggested- being that the trophy should be awarded for squadron discipline, smartness, and squadron atmosphere. The detailed couditiqns are being drawn up this week. It is probable that the trophy will be a miniature replica of the Southern Cross.
