SYNOPSIS OF LAST 24 HOURS.
The weather has been flue over most -of ths Dominion, a few isolated showers only having fallen along the east coast of the North Island. A slight anti-cyclone has been advancing on to the Dominion, and consequently, moderate southerly winds hare predominated, and since last night temperatures hava become cooler. At 9 a.m. today, however, winds wera northerly in the southern half of the Soutb Island owing to tlie approach of a slight de. pression over the South Tasman Sea
