THE; FINAL DAY
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") .MASTERTON. This Day: After an unpromising, morning ' the weather cleared, up for ithe second day'of the Masterton; Agricultural and Pastoral Association's annual show on- the Solway Show Grounds: yesterday. A strong wind blew across the ground, but it did riot affect the attendance, which was'up to that of former, years. Interested visitors during the da^ were.the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, arid the party of English public school boyswho are at present touring the Dominion. . The day was chiefly devoted to the judging of mostof the horse classes, ring events, and judging the entries in the Wairarapa Kennel Club's competitions,.which were held in conjunction with the Agricultural Show. The poultry'exhibits aad home, science sections provided addition U interest. > ' , ' . ■'•■ '.\- ---fhe grand parade of prize-winning s^ock was again a feature of the day, and was.a spectacular demonstration of the richness and fertility, of the district. Additional championship' awards are ■as follows:—-Draughts, stallion, colt, mare, and reserve mare, Donald McKenzie (Masterton); hack, T. V.. Caverhill (Masterton); pony, Miss Doris Young (Kairanga);. pony jump, >Miss; D. Bousefield (Waipukurau); champion jump, Mrs.. H. Scales (Wh'akataki). :.
