WELLINGTON UNION
The Management Committee of the Wellington Rugby Union met last evening. Mr. J. Prendeville presided.
The following transfers were granted:— H..A. Todd, from Hutt to Athletic; H. Tyrer, from Onslow to Kaiwarra; W. Lawson, from Onslow to Kaiwarra; H. Gfillespie, from Oriental to Poneke; W. Sundgren. from Hutt to Petone; D. Fairfax, from Karori to St. Patrick's College; S. Webb, from Melrose to Hutt; E. B; Marter, from Eastbourne to MelrosejSel-■vryn;-M. Hawthorne, from St. Patrick's College Old Boys to Marjst. "The Onslow Club was granted permission to withdraw its junior team, subject to the union's right to re-classify. ', The headmaster of the Porirua School wrote stating that the boys who left last year were forming a fifth grade team. Mr. W. J. Melody, bon. secretary,,of the Hutt Valley Primary Schools' Rugby Union, advised that 36 teams had entered for the weekly inter-schools' competition in the various grades.
