T. METCALF RECOVERING
T. Metcalf, the Southern light-weight; jockey, who was severely injured by a fall in a race at -ike Canterbury Jockey Club's New Zealand Cup Meeting- in November, has recovered sufficiently to be able to leave the Christ church Hospital. His head is still troubling him a good' deal, howevei'j and it ■will bo some time before he is able again to take up his vocation.
