DON JOSE GOES WELL
Don Jose, who, until he raced at Oamar.ii during the holidays, had not been seen with the colours up since last February, was responsible for a very attractive efFoit at -Riccarton' on Tuesday morning. Sent six furlongs 'on the plough, he ran the tup in Imin 15 4-ssee, which was. decidedly the best of the morning, JUibt season Don Jose's three successes included the Tiniaru Cup and the C.J.C. Epsom Handicap) and- he was runner-up to Stanchion in the Wellington Cup. He is booked with Pixie Gold to race at Trentham again next week, but he is not engaged in the Cup.
