OLD NAVALS
The Old Navals Defence Rifle Club continued its programme with the seventh competition shoot for championship, Rabe Cup, and second series on Saturday. The weather was ideal, and the conditions at SOOyds were good, but at SOOyds a tricky head wind accounted for small scores.
At 300 yds P. C. Standidge put on a very good 48. This old rifleman is getting back to his old form. At SOOyds P. E._ Franklyn did best with 44^. P. Congrieve, with 90 off the rifle, gave the best performance of the day. Scores:—
