A minor trotting invasion of' New Zealand by Australian horses is.in prospect. Already one Melbourne trainer is on the way to Auckland with, a team of live for the summer carnival of the Auckland Trotting Club at Christmas. It is also possible that four horses will come from Sydney. Tha Melbourne trainer is P. B. M'Farlane, who previously'visited New Zealand with Nimblo Direct in the 1926-27 season, winning one race and ruimiug-'seeond twice and. third once. The likely Sydney visitors are C. Bokkjer and J. B. Shechan. Both have already visited the Dominion. Mr. Eokkjer brought Native Prince, -Rock Allen, Eibbonwood's Last) and Style, and Mr. Shoehan Machine Brick, Machine Gun, and Auto Machine. Sevferal were sold to New' Zealand buyers, and Auto Machine was a recent winner at Epsom. - . ,
