COALITION DISPUTE

, AUCKLAND, This Day. A challenge to Mr. J. A. C. Allum to prove that he has official endorsement as the //.Coalition candidate for, Auckland West was issued by Mr. H. E. Mackenzie, United Party candidate, last evening. .He said that Mr. Allum stated that he had received endorsement as the..official nominee. Then the Eight Hon. J. G. Coates said there was a mis-, take. Then Mr. Allum said he waß a Coalition Reform' candidate. Now he said he was the Coalition candidate. If he could prove he had the official endorsement, of both parties, Mr. Mackenzie would withdraw. If he had not, let him withdraw, said Mr. Mackenzie, "and we can have a fair go together."
