LODGE MEETINGS

The regular meeting of Bcllevue Lodge, No. 126, 1.0i.0.F., N.Z., was held at Lower Hutt last week, the N.G., Bro. P. Macdonald, presiding over a large attendance. Accounts were passed for payment, an invitation from Port Nicholson Encampment was accepted, and official visits received from Wildey, Heretauriga, Muritai, Wahvhcw, and Ngati-Awa Lodges. The D.D.G.M.. Bro. Rudkin, Wellington District, was also present. The D.D.G.M., Bro. Gaudy, and staff, Bros. Kay. D.D.G. Marshall,. Bro. Tanner, U.D.G.W.. Bro. Bugg, D.D.G.T., Bro. Webb. P.G., H. W. Jones, P.G., Bro. Sheriden, P.G., Bro. Bread, D.D.G. Sac., conducted the installation of the following officers: J.P.G., Bro. R. Macdonald; N.G., Bro. A. W. Turner; V.G., Bro. H. M. Brady; Ree. Sec., Bro. E. A. Petersen; Financial Secretary, Bro. C. P. Gaudy; treasurer, Bro. T. Henry; Warden, Bro. E. Penhall, Junr.; conductor, Bro. L. Grimes; chaplain, Bro. A. The lodge thea went into harmony. Ngati-Awa Lodge No. 152,1.0.0. F., N.Z., held its fortnightly meeting recently, Bro. H. W. Jones, P.G., presiding over a good attendance. An invitation from Port Nicholson Encampment was accepted. Official visits were received from Hcretaunga; Waiwhetu, Muritai, and Bellevue Lodges. The D.D.G.M., Bro. Gandy and staff, Bro. Kay, D.D.G. Marshall, Bro. Tanner, D.D.G.W., Bro. Bugg, D.D.G. Treasurer, Bro. Breach, D.D.G. Sec, Bros. Pearson, Sheriden, Laidlaw, Jones, Barge, and Dales, were in attendance to conduct the installation of the following officers: J.P.G., Bro. H.W. Jones; N.G., Bro. Bloomfield; V.G., Bro. D. Reynolds; Rec. See., Bro. C. Breach; financial secretary, Bro'E. A. Petersen; treasurer, Bro. Bowcock; warden, Bro. Johnson; conductor, Bro. Turner; chaplin, Bro. L. Jones; R.S. N.G., Bro. C. P. Gandy; L.S. N.G., Bro. Cohen; R.S.S., Bra. H. B. Petersen; L.S.S., R. S. Lovett; 1.G., Bro. Webb; O G., Bro. F. Henry. Among visitors present wero Bros. Nicboll, Rule, Macintosh, Laidlaw, Sheriden, Binns, Bugg, Peargon, Woodgate, Oleff, Homstrong, Barge, Burle, M'Lean. Cowley, and Henry. Responses were received from Bros. Gandy, Tanner, Cowley, M'Lean, Homstrong, Macdonald. The lodge then went into harmony. The fortnightly meeting of Esther Rebekah Lodge, No. 30, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., was held recently, with the N.G., Sister Johniion, presiding over a large attendance. Five new members were initiated, and the following officers installed:—N.G., Sister F. Brammall; V.G., Sister D. Calver; recording secretary, Sister M. Sutton; financial secretary, Bro. A. Blair; treasurer, Sister C. Calver; warden, Sister M. Calver; conductor, Sister M. Turner; chaplain, Sister B. Seorringe R.S.V.G., Sister B M'Nelis; L.S.V.G., Sister E. M'Nelis; R.S.N.G., Sister Turner (senior); L.S.N.G., Sister F. Turner; inside guard, Sister J. Hampton; outside guard, Sister Hampton (senior). A vote of welcome was accorded the Lady District Deputy Grand Master and staff, and fraternal greetings were conveyed from Wellcsley and Southern dross Lodges. Sister J. Tahiwi was presented with a Past Grand's certificate.
