EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE
The Wellington 'Racing Club's Spring Meeting concluded yesterday in beautifully fine weather after overnight rain, and the track was in first-class order. The attendance was one of the best seen at Trentham for several meetings. The totalisator investments amounted to £37,3-14 10s, against £52,534 on the second day last year, making a total of £61,457 for the meeting, compared with £86,620 10s last year, a decline of £25,172 10s.
