(By, Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Violet Ivanh'oe, aged 27, a waitress, was charged in tho Police Court this morning with stealing a woman's hand-, bug and .contents of a valuo of £7. She pleaded guilty. ■ Tho police said that many bags had been stolen recently from shoppers, and the accused admitted having taken cloven that the.police could prove. She also said that there were many others. Tho accused was taken into custody.
Two waitresses, Phyllis Brimble, aged 23, and Phyllis Florence Badley, aged 20, pleaded guilty before Messrs. A. Coles and J. Burn, J.P. Js,'iii the Petone Court this morning-. to charges of being idle and disorderly persons, without sufficient means of support. They were remanded to appear for sentence at. Wellington next Monday.
