PATAUDI'S BIG SCORE

Isow records for University cricket were set up in the match, Oxford v. Cambridge, at Lord's, first when Batcliffe (Cambridge) made 201 runs, and then when the Nawab of Pataudi (Oxford) made 238 not out. The Nawab of Pataudi not only achieved a record score for tho University match, in beating Eateliffc's record, but in live of his last six innings he has made three-figure scores. Tho scores for the match are:—Cambridge 385 and 23 for no wickets; Oxford 453 for eight wickets, innings declared closed (the Nawab of Pataudi 238 not out, Owen-Smith 78). For Cambridge, Brown took five wickets for 153 runs. •
