REDUCED FREIGHT RATES
The New Zealand' Meat Producers Board recently announced a reduction in overseas shipping freight rates on tallow to the United Kingdom' from £4 per ton to £3 10s per ton to date from Ist April, 1931. The board now reports a further reduction in the rate on tallow as from Ist July, viz., 67s 6d per ton. A reduction has also been made in the shipping freight rate pn. casings to the United Kingdom from 100s to 90s per ton as from the Ist, July,. 1031.- AH. the above rates are plus.-usual.primage', v ■ ..;
