SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.
The programme presented by Miss Miller to the seafarers at the Sailors lmend Society on Tuesday was a popular one m all respects, and afforded the hearers real pleasure. The encores were much m demand. In tlift absence of Miss Miller, Miss Thomson was in charge of the programme. The performers were Misses A. Bonnie, M Forhnm, J. Perry, J. Walker, A. Clifford, and Messrs. Grey, Johnson, -Lawrence, Stuart, Mnckie, and M'Lennan. Miss Kathleen Sims whs at the piano. Light refreshments were much, appreciated. The men revelled in the competitions, the prizes for which came form l'Valherstoii. Mr. tT. Moore, Missioner, .spoke en "Knots." Pledges followed.
