BOXING.
DONOVAN v. AVHITLOW.
The appearance of Donovan in 8. Wellington ring lias always attracted a large attendance, and indications are that the seating accommodation of the Stadium will all be occupied when the laranaki cnanipion meets Whitlow on Wednesday next. The style of the two exponents should be particularly suited to provide a thrilling contest, both being hard hitters with persistent attack as the principal feature ot their ring work. Donovan arrived m Wellington early in the week, his intention being to complete his training here, which should assure that ho will be seen to better advantage than in any previous contest when his duties have often not permitted of his getting as fit as might otherwise be the case. Whitlow can be depended upon to be at his best form, and he should be well acclimatised by now. Holders of preferential booking rights will be enabled to book their seats to-morrow, while the plan for general booking will open on Friday morning.
