The mixed four-ball competition held, on Saturday in. aid of the Maraenui Golf Club,' Napier, attracted a large field, and resulted as follows:—Wilson and Mrs. Wilson, 5 up; Toss will and Miss Edwards, 3 up; Ryan and Mrs. Ryan, 2 up; Duncan and Miss Milne, all square. , . ■ The weekly ball competition (bogey) played over the week-end also went to W. Wilson (17). 3'lip; G. Hogg (B)',-who] played the last eight holes in. torrential j rain, was 2 up, and: J. Wallace (8), all | square. ,';' V.' '~ '/ . ;■■ :. ■ , '..■ There will be no official competition next Saturday (Anzae' Day.).
