WORK WITH THE BLIND
CONFERENCE IN AMERICA
MR.. CLUTHA MACKENZIE PRESENT'
(■Received 20th April, S a.m.) NEW YORK, 18th April. Mr. Clutha Mackenzie, New Zealand representative to the Conference for the Blind, was among a group of six war veterans who sat at "mess" together. The guests included Captain lan Timer, chairman of St. Dunstan's, at which Captain Frazer and Mr. Mackenzie were class mates after the war. The British members of the group expressed amusement in the differences they had discovered between the "American language and the King's English." The "excellent prospect" of the formation, of a permanent international organisation for /work with the blind was discussed;
