MESSAGE FROM MARAMA

(By Telegraph,—-Press Association.) AUCKLAND, 22nd March.

The captain of the Maramu sent the following wireless message to I he "Herald" last evening: "Spoke, yuclit Oimarn, 6 p.m., latitude ;Udcg 4min South, longitude loSdeg 25min East. All well. Fresh northerlies. Moderate to rough sea." The Marama cleared Sydney Heads for Auckland at 4 o'clock on Friday afternoon. Tlie position given is 300 nautical miles (about 415 land miles) east of Sydney, and on tho direct line between North Cape and Sydney.
