YOUNG GIRL'S SWIM
(Received 21st March, 10 a.m.) OSLO, 20th March. Further details of the Hera wreck show that the second mate, whose gallantry resulted in the saving of fiftysix lives, was twice beaten back in his attempt to reach the shore with a lifeline. A youug girl swam ;i hundred yards in a boiling sea and saved her-J self. A five-year-old girl was swept from her father's arms and drowned, leaving a. tiny shoo in his hand. The passengers were, asleep when the j Hera grounded. !
