NEW YORK, 20th March. Several attorneys and witnesses awaiting the appearance of a wealthy real estate ownei- to begin proceedings involving his property were startled at the sudden entrance of a man, trembling with excitement, who asked: "Who is the Judge? . He described himself as the sympathetic friend of Mrs. Kahlen, and said that he had lulled his employer, for ho believed he was attempting to go to Germany with his money, leaving his wife destitute.
