PROPOSED COMPENSATION
BRITISH CLAIMS URGED
LONDON, 20th March. In the House of Commons, Mr. F. W. Pcthiek-Laivrence, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, said that in view of the proposed legislation to compensate French original subscribers to war loans, he had made representations seeking similar treatment for British holders. __^_^_^^____
