HAUTERE RIFLE CLUB
On Saturday the Hautere Rifle Club began the first round of the championship belt, and President A. Thomson's trophy, seven shots being fired at 300 and 500 yards. At 300 yards Eflmn. E. Taylor marie 31, Eymn. A. Thomson and M. Fielding 30 each. At 500 yards shooting was good and'some good scores were made. Rflmn V. Cotrel (34). F. Best and .T. Skinner (33 each), aad G. Hayward (32) were the foremost.
For the trophy, with handicaps, the leaders are J. Skinner 64. F. Best 63, H. Lumsden 63. H. Eagle 03, V. Cottle 02, and C. Morpfan 62. The following were the scores off the rifle:— 300 500 Yds. Yds.
